By accessing or using Kuartz ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Software.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Kuartz in trial mode with 20-minute session limits. The trial is provided "as is" with full access to features for evaluation purposes.
Upon purchase of a Monthly or Lifetime license, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software according to your subscription tier. Licenses are valid for one user and may not be shared or redistributed.
You agree NOT to:
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
Lifetime licenses are valid permanently for Kuartz 1.0 and all its future improvements (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc.). You get every update and new feature we add to version 1 at no additional cost. If we ever release Kuartz 2.0 (a completely new version with major changes), that would require a separate purchase.
We offer a 14-day refund policy from the date of purchase for both Monthly and Lifetime licenses. Refund requests must be submitted via email to support@kuartz.app. Free trial usage does not qualify for refunds.
Monthly subscriptions require an internet connection at startup to verify license status. Lifetime licenses require internet connection only for initial activation and can operate offline afterwards.
We provide regular updates and bug fixes for all paid licenses. Lifetime licenses include all updates and improvements to Kuartz 1.0 (including 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc.) at no extra cost. If we ever release a completely new version (Kuartz 2.0) with major architectural changes, that would be a separate purchase. Technical support is provided via email for all paid users.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and licenses for any music files you use with Kuartz. We do not provide music content or claim any ownership over your music library. You must comply with all applicable copyright laws when using the Software for public performances or recordings.
Kuartz supports AU/VST3 plugins from third-party developers. We are not responsible for the functionality, stability, or licensing of third-party plugins. You are responsible for obtaining proper licenses for any third-party plugins you use.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR COMPATIBLE WITH ALL SYSTEMS. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
IN NO EVENT SHALL KUARTZ BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies. Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable upon termination for violation of terms.
We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of applicable jurisdiction.
